And you know who your are!!<br /><br />This BlogSpot is a result of a partnership known as Horizons, WSU Extension Service, (Horizons.wsu.edu)and a non profit organization NW Area oundation<br />(nwaf.org.<br /><br />Leadership Training has been the focal point for the Kettle Falls/Marcus' two representatives, pictured above. They are Lara Henry and Dorthea Pritchett.<br /><br />The Horizon group grew out of study circles comprised of more than 60 of your neighbors who met for 5 weeks in February and March of this year, discussing and identifying causes of poverty and establishing goals to lessen the impact of poverty in our communities.<br /><br />Our group was a small portion of a statewide project funded by the Northwest Area Foundation and administered by Washington State University Extension Service. There was a total of 23 small rural towns and communities represented, with persons from Republic, Kettle Falls/Marcus, Colville, Chewelah and Springfield attending the 3 day leadership training in Moses Lake on April 10,11,12.
